Milestones

It is so amazing to watch your children grow. I love to catch my boys do something new. Jaden is always adding on to his vocabulary and singing to music. Riley is crawling around and sitting up. Today Riley finally reach his goal!! I noticed him trying to stand up in his crib for the past few days and today he has got it down pack!! I caught him doing it a couple times today. I am truely a proud mother. I love my children so much. They make me so proud. <3

Managing Time

When I became a mother, I did not know that there was not enough hours in the day. I am trying to juggle between taking care of my kids, school, and working. A better way of learning how to manage time from what I learn in class, is to write out a time sheet of everything you do in a day. When I did that sheet a couple of months ago, I realized that majority of my time went to working and spending the rest of the day with my kids and getting prepared for tomorrow. I also found out that not enough time with towards me. One thing I do need to work on is my scheduling. I also need to make time for myself…which seems impossible with those three things going on. What do you spend most of your time doing?

Playground Time!

I love taking my son to the park to go play on the playground. I enjoy watching him run around like a wild child and being able to interact with other children. He is getting to that point where he is learning his social skills, so the best place I recommend to go is Lettuce Lake Park. The entry fee is $2.00 per car. The playground there, is AMAZING! There is so many children running around, you will be there for hours. The best time to go is the weekends and during the weekdays once the kids are out of school for the day. They also have a boardwalk where you can walk and look at the wildlife. If your interested, here is the address:

Lettuce Lake Park, 6920 E Fletcher Avenue, Tampa FL 33637

Location: Fletcher Avenue at Hillsborough River (just west of Interstate 75)

Hopefully soon, I can do a play date on the weekends with some moms.image

Introduction

Let me introduce myself. My name is Alina Coleman, I am twenty years old, and I am a young parent. I have two boys, Jaden Coleman(2) and Riley Coleman(5months). I am working as a Medical Assistant and I am currently in college perusing a career into the criminal justice field. On top of that, I am a military wife, married to my high school sweetheart. I have a lot going on in my life, and it has been a roller-coaster for me. Little did I know, I realized I have a lot to share and to talk about my experiences that I have encountered. This is my blog on being a young parent, experiences with my children, and some parent reviews/tips on products, life, or whatever I think I should share. Welcome!
